Medoc marathon メドックマラソン

I would like to introduce an interesting marathon. The name of the marathon is Medoc marathon.

What do you associate with "Medoc" and "marathon" ?

You are right. 

This is the marathon in Medoc, Bordeaux, in which participants can run through vineyards and drink wine every 2 km including Chateau Lafit Rothshild instead of water!  I participated in this marathon in 2007, although I was not able to complete.

There is only one rule that you must dress a fancy costume in the marathon.

Why not a marathon enjoying wine?

メドックマラソンについて紹介したいと思います。メドックとマラソン、この言葉から何を連想しますか？そうです。ボルドー・メドック地方で行われるマラソンのことです。このマラソンで参加者はぶどう畑を走り、2km毎に給水所ではなく給ワイン所があり、ワインの試飲ができるのです。あのラフィットも試飲できます。一つだけルールがあり、仮装して走らなければなりません。ワインを楽しみながらマラソンしてみませんか。
