I am quite ashamed that I have not published any posts recently. I intended to post regularly at least once a week. I visited many wineries for the last two months, and let me talk about a few of them which are really fantastic winery and have become our favourite.

S.C.Pannell in McLaren Vale has already earned a good reputation as a high-quality wine producer although it has a short history from establishment in 2004. Their wines are beautifully aromatic, succulent fruit, soft, velvety texture, moderately oaked and less tannic, and those characteristic are well integrated into drinkable style keeping complexity. The wines are my cup of tea.

Shingleback in McLaren Vale offers many high-quality wines at an affordable price. Among them, I highly recommend Local Heroes McLaren Vale Shiraz Grenache. This wine is red fruit and black berry dominant, smooth mouth feel and rich. I can’t believe it is less than AUS$20. It is a must-buy.

The Lane Vineyard in Adelaide Hills is located on top of the hill, and the view from cellar door is spectacular. I like their Chardonnay.


週一回はブログをアップデートするつもりだったのですが、恥ずかしながら最近さぼって記事を書いていませんでした。ここ2ヶ月ほどの間に訪問したワイナリーの中で、お気に入りになったいくつかの素晴らしいワイナリーを紹介したいと思います。

マクラーレンベールにあるS.C.Pannell は2004年設立という若いワイナリーながら、既に高品質ワインの生産者としての評判を既に確立しています。ここのワインは香りが素晴らしく、豊かな果実味、柔らかで滑らかな舌触り、樽とタンニンは控えで、これらの特徴がうまく組み合わさり、複雑性を残しながらも飲み易いスタイルになっています。ここのワインは私の好みのワインです。

同じくマクラーレンベールにあるShingleback は多くの高品質のワインを買い易い値段で販売しています。その中でもLocal Heroes McLaren Vale Shiraz Grenache は私のイチオシです。ラズベリーなどの赤果実やブラックベリーが主体で、滑らかなで豊かな味わい。これが20ドル以下というのは信じられません。購入はマストです。

アデレードヒルズのThe Lane vineyardは丘の頂上にあり、眺めが素晴らしいです。ここのシャルドネが美味しかったです。
