長らく放置していたブログを再開しようと思います。

2015年12月にアデレード大学大学院を修了し日本に帰国。留学前と同様銀行員として働いています。

日本に戻ってきて早くも4年経ちましたが、留学前の2013年頃と比べると、スーパーなどのワインコーナーの充実には目を見張るものがあります。ビストロは言うに及ばず、和食屋さんでも選べるワインの数が増えてきています。日本にもワイン文化がかなり浸透してきていて嬉しい限りです。

コロナウィルスが落ち着いたら外国に赴任することになりました。赴任前に、今の日本のワイン事情をまとめておき、何年先になるかわかりませんが、将来帰国した時に日本のワイン文化がどれくらい広がっているか、比べてみたいと思います。

Now, I will resume my blog.

After completing my master's degree in wine business in the university of Adelaide, I returned to Japan and I have been working for a bank since then.

Compared with the situation in 2013, now I can see more wines at supermarkets in Japan, and there are more wines available at Japanese restaurants. I am so happy with that.

I have been assigned a new role of working abroad. I am supposed to to be sent after the coronavirus pandemic has eased. Before I leave Japan, I would like to write the current wine scene in Japan for my memory to review for when I will be back to Japan in the future.
